Bentako ("Bentako," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Bentako application available at bentako.app and www.bentako.app (the "Service"). The Service is a sales, inventory, expense, and business management application intended for micro, small, and medium businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect the information necessary to operate your account, such as your name and email address. This identifies you as the owner of your business data and lets you sign in securely.

Business records. You may create sales, inventory, expense, product, and settings records within the Service. These records are associated with your account and are used to provide the Service to you.

Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides Bentako with your Google account identifier and your email address for the purpose of authentication and account association. We use this information to verify your identity and link your sign-in to your existing Bentako account.

Usage and device information. We may collect limited technical information such as device identifiers used for offline synchronization and basic service operation logs, used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

Bentako uses Google Sign-In solely for authentication. The only Google data we receive is your basic profile identifier and email address, as provided by Google for sign-in purposes.

We do not request access to and do not collect:

• Your Gmail messages or email contents;
• Your Google Drive files or documents;
• Your Google Calendar events or schedule;
• Your Google Contacts;
• Your Google Photos, location history, or any other unrelated Google data.

If Google presents a consent screen, it is only to confirm your identity for sign-in. Bentako never reads or processes your personal Google content beyond the email and identifier needed for login.

We use your information only to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you, specifically to:

• Authenticate your sign-in and manage your account;
• Maintain the security of your account and detect unauthorized access;
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Bentako features you use (sales, inventory, expenses, reports, and settings);
• Enable offline operation and synchronization of your records across your devices;
• Provide account management and respond to your support requests.

Your account and business records are stored with the Service's hosting provider and database infrastructure. Access to your data is restricted to you and to authorized personnel only as needed to operate and support the Service.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted transmission. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Each user's business data is isolated to their own account. Other users cannot see or access your sales, inventory, expenses, or settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers only when necessary to operate the Service, such as:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store and process your records;
• Authentication providers (for example, Google for sign-in) limited to the data described above;
• Providers of email delivery, error monitoring, or analytics used to keep the Service running.

These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements and are bound to protect your information. We never share your business records for any advertising or unrelated commercial purpose.

We retain your account and business records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information and business records within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

Offline data stored on your device (such as pending sales awaiting synchronization) is retained on that device and removed when synchronized or when you clear it.

You may access, correct, or export your business data through the Service. You may delete individual records (sales, inventory entries, products, expenses) at any time within the app.

To request full account and data deletion, email us at support@bentako.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will confirm your identity, permanently delete your account and associated business records, and notify you once deletion is complete.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not use your business records for advertising purposes, and we do not share your data with advertising networks. The Service is funded by subscriptions, not by monetizing your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
